Co-Builder

I build AI solutions alongside your team - and they keep everything

Not a black-box delivery. Not a consultant who disappears. I work with your people, in your workflows, until the solution is theirs.

How Co-Builder Works

Three phases. One team at the end of it.

Phase 1

Discovery

I spend time understanding your workflows - what your team does, where the friction is, and which processes would benefit most from AI. No assumptions, no generic frameworks. This phase produces a shared picture of what we're building and why.
Phase 2

Build

I develop the solution alongside your team - pair programming, joint testing, weekly reviews. Your people aren't observers; they're involved in every decision. That's what makes the knowledge transfer real rather than just a handover document.
Phase 3

Transfer

By the end of the engagement, your team can maintain, extend, and improve what we've built without me. You own the code, the prompts, the documentation, and the understanding. I'm available for questions, but you don't need me.

Common questions

What people usually want to know

What kind of solutions do you build?

Document processing automation, internal knowledge bases, reporting pipelines, custom AI tools for specific workflows, integrations between existing systems. The scope depends on what your business actually needs - not what's fashionable. I won't recommend a solution that's more complicated than the problem.

Why 3 months minimum?

Real capability transfer takes time. A one-month engagement produces a deliverable; a three-month engagement produces a team that understands what they've built and can extend it. The minimum isn't about billing - it's about what actually works. If we can achieve the goal faster, we wrap up early.

How much time does this require from my team?

Typically 2-4 hours per week from a nominated team lead, plus occasional input from subject matter experts when we're modelling specific workflows. I structure the engagement to minimise disruption to your normal operations - this shouldn't feel like a separate project sitting on top of existing work.

Do we need technical staff on our side?

No. Co-Builder is designed specifically for teams without in-house AI or software development expertise. You bring the domain knowledge - the understanding of your business, your workflows, and what success looks like. I bring the technical capability. The goal is for your team to gain enough understanding to own what we build, not to become software developers.

What happens after the engagement ends?

You own everything: the code, the documentation, the process notes, the prompt libraries. The 30-day support period covers any questions that come up as your team runs the system without me present. After that, you're fully independent - though many clients choose to run a second phase once they've seen what the first one produces.

We came in expecting a tool. We came out with a team that knows how to build their own tools. That's a different thing entirely.
